If you have never replaced your parts and you feel as though the suction isn’t quite what it used to be, it is worth replacing all of your parts to ensure they’re performing at their peak.You should replace duckbill valves:Every 2 – 3 months if you pump less than once per dayEvery 3 – 4 weeks if you pump between 1 – 3 times per dayEvery 2 weeks if you pump more than 3 times per dayIf your parts look worn or damaged, or they are fitting loosely, it is time to replace them as well.
